“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no foe can withstand]” (Psalm 91:1).

At times we all need a secret place to run to. We need this place to get away from the clamor and confusion that attacks our faith and encroaches on our stability. God has made just such a place for us to go, and it is in our hearts. We must remind ourselves that Jesus is very close and that His Spirit resides inside our hearts. In trying times, we must remember to run to the secret place in our hearts to find relief, comfort, and His encouraging love and power. In the secret place, He is able to keep us stable and to defeat the Enemy’s power in our lives.
