In this world, there is power in evil, but LOVE is more powerful- the GREATEST of these ! No  wonder the negative, spiritual realm relentlessly fights to  tear down and defeat true love in marriages, families,friendships, and churches. True love, which is God’s love living in us through the Holy Spirit, gives us the capability to triumph over whatever comes against us to tear down what is good in our lives . When we are offended by others, God’s love gives us the energy and motivation to work through and process out the hurt, pain, and anger- which then allows us the liberty to gradually forgive and let go of our offenders. Without forgiveness, our hearts will become trapped in hate, bitterness and self-pity. God is love, and a heart full of unconditional love desires to understand, and disregard the offenses of others. As we learn to process the negative out of our souls- allowing the Holy Spirit to heal by replacing the negative with His positive love, we will find a place of spiritual enlightenment, as God’s love controls our actions toward our friends- and toward our enemies.

“Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]” (1Peter 4:8).
