Sometimes life is hard! First we struggle to fix what’s broken, whether the trouble we are experiencing is an on-going challenge that we just can’t seem to overcome, or a new problem with our job, family, friends, finances, or failing health. When our efforts and plans just don’t seem to be working out, we run to God for help and start praying. But as time goes by, and our prayers seem to go unanswered, and additional challenges arise, it is easy to become discouraged and believe that life is never going to get better, and positive inner or outer change is beyond our reach. If held onto, these negative thought patterns and the enemy of our soul will escort us into feeling overwhelmed and hopeless about our life situation and future. You may feel trapped in a situation, with no way out and at the point of collapse. This is the path that leads to emotional and spiritual defeat.
Quite the opposite is God’s plan for our path to overcoming victory! We must set our hearts on Him, and believe [lean on, rely on and confidently trust] in the promises of the Logos, and embrace the Lord’s goodness, kindness, and tender mercy towards us. We must recognize the truth that our God stands beside us and is the Hero who rescues us. By Yahweh’s supernatural power we can overcome! The Lord will help us triumph, because He is our true strength, our Champion, and our Savior. We will experience victory, because our God is a Valiant Warrior. The power of God is lifted high! The power of God will never fail! These positive thoughts and beliefs will help stabilize our faith! Jesus is the Light that burst through the gloom! He loves us unconditionally, more than we can comprehend, and He is always working out goodness towards us.
God’s Logos promises to us are the ‘Living Expression’ of His Light, Love, and Truth. Jesus gave his life, as a light for all humanity to embrace, and discover who He really is- the Savior that is the lover of our soul! We can always count on His honesty and faithfulness to fulfill what He said He will do for us. Those who embrace him and take hold of his Name have the authority to become who we really are- the sons and daughters of God! So be brave and hold on with good courage during the hard times and believe. He will liberate us! Even though we cannot comprehend or figure out how life is going to work out, we must wait and hope and expect the Lord to do His majestic work in our lives- not forgetting our destiny. Then, while we are waiting, hoping, and expecting the Lord to help us, He will lift us up to the spiritual place where negativity is defeated and positive Truth and praise is embraced and manifested- We will believe and “we will see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living”.
Psalm 27:13-14 amp.
[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.
