It is not always easy to believe that God wants to bestow His goodness on us, especially during long, hard, difficult, demanding, tough times. Often the wounds of our hearts give openings to our spiritual Enemy, and his relentless negativity fills us with fear and overwhelm. The Evil One says that things will never change for the better, that they will always be as they are. This is an attempt to challenge the truth of God’s love, purposes, and plans for you.

You do not have to wait until you go to heaven to find the Lord’s goodness! He wants you to progressively find out who He really is on this earth so you can accept as true His kindness, honesty, and reliability. The Lord desires to help you in your quest to first trust and then to believe His grace will strengthen you to move through this hard place to a better place. Faith through believing is a powerful weapon that will help you overcome life’s greatest challenges.

“[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!” (Psalm 27:13).
