It is awe-inspiring, when we consider that our “Creator” chose to enter into the very world he created as an innocent baby, who was born in a lowly manger. “He was not born by the joining of human parents or from natural means, or by a man’s desire, but he was born of God” (John1:13tPt). Jesus Christ, the son of the Triune Godhead is the human expression of the Father the and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One, the Alpha and Omega, the revelation of “I AM” became a man to pay for the sins of mankind, and to offer forgiveness, abundant Life, Light, Freedom, and eternal salvation to a spiritually fallen, lost, and dying world! As we know, He was born in a stable in Bethlehem, and Mary wrapped her precious Son, called Jesus, in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now, if we humans had been doing the planning, most likely we would not have planned the birth of a King to take place in such lowly, humble, and trying settings; but Gods ways and man’s ways are usually very different, because God’s ways are higher than our ways! Those who hunger for more of Him will always be filled, but the smug and self-satisfied will remain empty. As believers and lovers of God, we humbly gaze upon the “splendor of his preciousness” and “set our hearts on him. “And from him we receive grace, favor, sweetness, pleasure and delight”. “Jesus Christ the Anointed One, unveils truth wrapped in tender mercy” to all who desire to follow Him and long to believe – “Out of his fullness we are fulfilled!” (John1: 14-16tPt). It all happened according to God’s perfect plan; the Divine Christ child was born…. Angels sang…. Shepherds worshipped……Wise men brought gifts, and Jesus Christ came to pay for the sins of mankind and offer the gift of salvation, God’s Love and forgiveness to a world in need! Praise be unto to God for sending His Son, Jesus Christ! We will celebrate His birth, and the power of his love, as we yield ourselves to receive the Holy Spirit’s revelation of the Christ Child…. the Son of the Living God…..the Glory of God revealed in the flesh….. “O Come Let Us Adore Him, Christ the Lord”. (Isaiah 9:6).
