On planet earth, the on-going battle between Light vs darkness is constantly being worked out in the physical and spiritual realms. In God’s continuous plan to restore and enlighten the world; Love vs hate, faith vs fear, good vs evil, Truth vs lies, clarity vs confusion, hope vs helplessness, wisdom vs ignorance, forgiveness vs bitterness, and humility vs arrogance is playing out in the religious, political, National, and world arena. Then, at the same time this battle is taking place in individual hearts!
For those who have accepted the gift of the Anointed One’s love, forgiveness, salvation, and opened their hearts to the Holy Spirit, there is much hope for tomorrow. Now that does not mean that our on-going lives will always be “easy breezy”! But it does mean that because our King-Priest Jesus suffered and endured every test and temptation- He can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life (Hebrews2:17-18). It is needful for us to recognize how much we desperately need Him – during the easy times and through the trying times! Because God gifted us with His mercy and grace, each of us is in the process of being transformed into His likeness. When we look within our hearts and yield to the Holy Spirit- He will help us to spiritually move forward, as we work out and release darkness and negativity through prayer. Then the Holy Spirit will replace the darkness in our heart with His Light. The One who is living in you is far greater than anything that attempts to defeat and hold you back spiritually. Jesus said, “I am the Light of the World. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the light which is Life (John 8:12amp).
“God is love and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God and God dwells and continues in Him” (1John 4:16amp). Through our loving Union with the Lord Jesus Christ, the Enemy will be defeated! This transforming love Union with the Anointed One will powerfully push out dread, torment, fear, and any lie that attempts to defeat our victorious faith! “There is no fear in love, but full-grown love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror. For fear brings with it the thought of punishment and he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love” (1John4:18amp). This Word of Truth brings great hope to the many precious souls who cry out for release and freedom from the bondage of fear- God’s powerful love is greater than any evil!
Even in these trying times, “God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to hide! You’re a proven help in time of trouble; More than enough and always available whenever I need you. So, we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away! We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea! For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you” (Psalm46:1-3tPt). Today, there is much shaking in our world and in our hearts! But because of God’s good plans and His continual love for us is greater than all our fears – we will confidently lean, rely, and trust in His loving power and plan!
