The statement “God loves you” sometimes comes across as an overused religious cliché spoken without passion or power. Yet it is the undisputable Truth that the triune God -the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit is the most powerful existing force of love in the Universe! The Logos speaks that God’s love is so powerful that it has the ability to transcend suffering, affliction, tribulation, calamity, distress, persecution, and destitution-they are impotent to hinder God’s omnipotent love! Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One Jesus? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love towards us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love.
A loving mother or father will continue to love unconditionally, whether the child behaves or misbehaves, obeys or dis-obeys, respects or dis-respects, lies or tells the truth. The negative behavior does not change the pure love the parent has for the child. Even when the parent and child are in difficult circumstances, the parents’ deep love remains stable and fixed through the hard times. On the other hand, when a parent is not walking in the power and pure love of the Anointed One Jesus Christ, the child will experience conditional love that will manifest itself in un-love, negative attitudes, and uncaring behaviors.
The way we experience love as a child from our parents makes an emotional impact on how we relate to God’s love as an adult. However, the good news is that God’s love through Jesus Christ can rise above all the unloving wounds received in childhood. His love can create an all new healing and fulfilling Father/child relationship- with God as a loving parent. Remember even an unloving parent or parents cannot separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. God desires to bring you to a place where you are able to know, recognize, and discern His Faithful love.
So now we can live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. God’s love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, and spiritual darkness. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us-no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!
“Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” “Romans 8:35,38-39).
