Proverbs 18: 21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

With our words we create. Most of us do not understand as we speak positive [light, goodness, kindnesses, love, patience, charity, hope] or negative [darkness, hatred, fear (Satan’s greatest tool), unkindness, intolerance, selfishness, despair, discouragement] our tongue is producing life or death in our spiritual and physical world. With our words we can choose to build up and bless or choose to tear down and curse. By simply speaking positive words we attract positive energy from our Lord’s spiritual realm of Light. In the ministry I have counseled many precious people that have been cursed because somebody along the way spoke negatively to them [you are dumb, stupid, ugly, fat, sick, lazy, etc.] and they believed the words and the words kept them in bondage. It takes time, Jesus’ blessing of love and His positive truths to undo the effects of negative words and bring healing to our wounded hearts. So as we choose to replace speaking negative with positive let us grasp and comprehend that our words contain the power to create life or death in ourselves and others.
