And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you”(1Peter 5:10).

God has such enormous love for us but sometime when we experience loss, pain or anguish this is hard to believe. We ask, If God loves us so much how can he allow His children to suffer? The truth is we live in a fallen world where suffering is prevalent. Whether our suffering is a result of a bad choice we make or from circumstances completely out of our hands it is God’s will to use the pain to make the Love bigger. God will even turn around what Satan means for our demise and use it for our good;to complete, develop, establish, ground, and strengthen our hearts through and in His Love. This Love is the most powerful force in the universe and is able to turn our pain into joy if we are willing to go through the spiritual process. This process will lead us to surrender and total abandonment to the workings of God in our lives. I can truly confirm as I look back over all the years of my spiritual life-the pain does make the love bigger!
